Basket of Encouragement
The Basket:
Remember that God is the “Weaver of Life”. He has interwoven your life into the lives of others in order to accomplish His purpose. Some come into our life but for a little while and others for a lifetime, all according to God’s timing.
The Handle:
This basket has no handle. Remember that God has a much greater handle on things than you can now understand. Trust Him to carry your burdens and ease your aching heart. He is with you always
The Seeds:
Remember that life goes on. Every life touches others in a special way that even death can’t erase. When we are gone, all of the special touches we planted in this life will continue to live on in the hearts and memories of those we have left behind.
The Roses:
Remember that love is forever. It never ends. Even though your loved one is gone, their love still lives on. Eternally. Keep this rose handkerchief as a reminder to wipe away your tears of sorrow and hold close the remembrance of tears shed with joy. Place a photo in the rose frame as a reminder that love is forever and reunions are being planned even as we weep.
The Book:
May the words in this book be an encouragement to you in the days and weeks ahead and may they help bring you to that place of Peace.
The Bear:
Let the little patchwork bear be a reminder of the words of encouragement in Psalms 147:3 ~ "He heals the broken hearted. He binds up their wounds."
